I know this should be in driveline but I am hoping for more exposure and fast response!

I just picked up a Solid 8.8 from a 2002 Mustang Gt, I am just wondering what I need to do in order to keep it from bending. Is anyone doing more than just welding the tubes? If so, where are you buying them from. I will be making about 800Hp/TQ.

Also, I am planning on using all Team Z/ Strange suspension parts. Anyone have any feedback on what is good/not so good? Planning on Strange 10 ways, and the whole "Street Beast" package from Team Z.

Thanks in advance SVTP!

I have an 03 GT 8.8 axle. Team Z strip series rear suspension pieces. It's a harsh ride on my streets. Axle tubes are welded. It has 33 spline axles with a wavetrac diff and C clip eliminators. As far as added bracing I added CHE Performance axle brace. #CHE9C

Thanks! I was actually looking at the whole strip series 1 kit. Glad that you saved me from that, I don't mind having a rough ride, but I don't want anything that is going to be crazy uncomfortable. That CHE Brace looks really good too, I may go that route!
