Use this tool to install the balancer, not the bolt to pull it on otherwise you could be dealing with the situation I was. Fortunately with an ARP thread chaser and a tap holder socket tool, I was able to make the threads good again.damn, mine was starting to get a little sloppy but not that bad. How the hell do you "properly" install one? When the engine builder put mine back together they ran it on with the ARP bolt but the pan was off and we could verify it was seated.

Just seat the balancer all the way in, torque the bolt to 100 ft/lbs and use red loctite.
