I was using my a/c today and I noticed something I had not noticed before. on my blower knob there is a setting for low a dot followed by another dot then max speed. The blower works fine on low setting, and when I put it on the next dot the speed increases, then when I go one more click to the 2nd dot (3rd position) the blower speed stays the same, and then in I put it on max blower speed it goes to max normally. anyone else's truck do this?
cliff notes:

low speed fan ok
2nd speed ok
3rd speed same as 2nd
max speed goes to max.

Bet it acts different depending on if it's on A/c or Max A/C (possibly recirc.)

Blower Resistor going bad?

don't think so. I just noticed this.... can someone check and see if it acts the same on their truck? I am going to get my wiring diagram out and see how many speeds there are supposed to me...

Just checked my wiring diagram and it shows 4 setting... well shit I just ran out of warranty last month. oh, well I bought the premium care extended warranty :D
