Sound like a good deal?

I know most of you guys know quite a bit about fords so I thought I would ask here. I found a 96 F-150 ext cab, 5.0, 4x4, with a really great looking body no rust at all, 128000 miles for $2995. It would be a real upgrade from my explorer which runs good, but is starting to look pretty bad.
It runs really good from what I can tell. Is there anything in particular I should look at if I go back, I'm not real familiar with those trucks.

id say with that mileage, you should really get on that old girls insides, up close and personal. anything could have happended after 128000, of course if you bought a lemon you might be able to make the money back parting it out. try to talk it down regardless.

lol, I will gladly take the cut in mpg, once you saw my exploder you would agree, plus it has 176,000 miles.
