Spare tire

Quick question. Does the spare tire for 93 Cobras differ from those of regular mustangs? The only reason I ask is because a seller made reference to their spare tire as if it was special.
Also, does anybody know where to get a new rear hatch cargo cover?

The spare tire is different from the Gt, The rim is of brushed aluminum

The Cobra has an aluminum rim and the 93 GT has a steel rim.

I also think the tire size is different too.

I noticed Grizzl that you are getting a Hellion turbo system tuned right now. Whenever you get a chance could you post #'s, pics, vids etc. And let us know what you think of it etc. I have a Dynomax cat-back also with off road h-pipe and I'm don't like the sound very much, do you like them?

I've seen the aluminum spare in a lot of older GTs also.

I didnt know that. I just assumed they were all the same. But yup..mines still factory original.

I've seen a # of cobras with the steel spare aswell :shrug:
