Anyone running this motor know what plugs work? I have autolite plugs 104's in now(gaped at 52) and I think this may be my problem down low sputtering.

Thanks!

You should be running autolite 764's or NGK TR55's. If its sputtering bring the gap down some to like 45 and see if it does it.

Thanks! If the car is idling and I tap the gas I get a little sputter. I got 104s because the local parts store told me that was the new replacement number for 764. I should have thought of this before I put them in being that I have the higher compression, stock coils, and 32 lb injectors.

autolite has a million interchangeable plugs, and it seems like they change their numbers a lot... make sure the type of plug remains the same and counts threads...
