So I decided after looking at my plugs when I was changing my coil packs I want to change them. They are the factory ones so I was wondering if I should buy the same type or are there a aftermarket brand that is better?

Buy some motorcraft .054 gap unless you're tuned or something then you can go better.

what are your mods?

If you have bolt ons or close to stock, then new stock plugs would be fine. Just make sure they are gapped correctly.

I have full exhaust with jlt cai and a bama tune currently for mods. A buddy of mine mentioned I should get NGK plugs.

Don't care for NGK here, but to each his own. I think stick with Motorcraft gapped at 054 unless you have nitrous or a blower on there.

I always ran autolite copper core plugs for stock applications. Any copper plug gapped correctly will be fine with your minimal mods.

Copper core stock heat range .54ish gap will be fine, whatever brand you want.I run NGKs gapped at about .32 but im blown and occasionally N2O injected.
