Speed Dawg shifter knob installed

Received and installed my Speed Dawg shifter knob tonight.

I did this to my 2012 GT500 as well. Although they both had some sort of loctite on there, the 2013 had a LOT more .. what a pain in the butt to get off. I had my strap wrench from my 2012 install. The 2012 required me to turn it a little until it broke free .... the 2013 I had to almost use the strap wrench the whole way! I'll play with it this weekend to see if I can get the black spacer a little closer to the boot and still get the shifter lined up like I want it. The flash makes the ball look a brighter RED than it really is.

Looks great, I have a blk with charcoal stripes one for my 08, I know a few people here had problems with the finish on there's butane came in fine last year.

Is there any place that will make you one custom? I want a DIB type color with black stripes to match my exterior but I can't find one!

Speed Dawg is awesome. They made my custom one for my Shelby as well.

I didn't realize it was a different brand then mine, I ordered mine from Shelby directly and they had a ton of colors. I think it was around $75

My 2012 I got the one from Shelby as they had red w/ white stripes. They didn't have Red with black stripes for my '13 so I went with Speed Dawg who did offer that combo

• Adapter: 10mm x 1.25
• Burnout Button: Do NOT include a 12V Momentary Switch
• Mustang Boot Retainer: Black 10mm x 1.25 for Narrow Boot Opening
