What exactly are your plans to get the ticket dropped? You're right on one part, it IS stupid. So you're taking responsibility for your actions....but you would have fled from the officer given the opportunity??? :rollseyes If you keep your license for 136 in a 65 I will be amazed, especially if you do it without an attorney. You might want to speak to one that deals with traffic offenses in that court. You CAN have an attorney and take responsibility for your actions. However, I guarantee (even with attorney in tow) if you go into court, say to the judge, "I take responsibility for my actions" your ticket will not get dropped. I wouldn't recommend anyone face a criminal offense in court without an attorney. You are dealing with the consequences of your actions because that is what is required of you. What you need to do is learn from your mistake. But based on your previous post about running from the cops I doubt you've learned anything. You should mention that to the judge as well. 03_Termi: "Your Honor, I am taking full responsibility for my actions. I can also say, Your Honor, that I have learned a very valuable lesson from this ordeal." Judge: "Yes, and what lesson would that be?" 03_Termi: "If posed with a similar situation, I think it would be in my best interest to just keep the pedal to the floor and not stop. Because me getting out of a ticket is far more important than public safely. And frankly your Honor, who cares if I do get caught after that and face felony charges for fleeing, I'll just post another thread on svtp and tell everyone I'm taking responsibility for my actions. Then I'll let them know that I think I can beat the charge." Judge: ":nonono:" This last sentence is sincere and from the bottom of my heart...Good Luck! :lol1:
