Don't ask a lawyer though as they will just try to scare the crap out of you so you hire them, slimey bastards (no offense to any SVTP lawyers). I know the judges in my county as a general rule hate speeders with a passion. Normal sentencing for 100+ is loss of license and a day in jail for mph over 100. I would definitely get a lawyer though. I got a lawyer when I got a reckless driving ticket for 20mph over posted limit. I ended up paying more than amount I would have paid if I had just paid the fines but there was no chance of me losing my license and no reckless on my record which was well worth the money. Good luck to you.

[QUOTE="GreySVTSnake01, post: 10824423, member: 92556"] That's exactlly what i was going to say. I wouldn't say "I plead the fifth" to the cop as I would probably come off as a douche but I would say something like "I'd rather not say". That's exactlly what the Fifth Amendment is about. You can't be forced to incriminate yourself. It's possible the officer didn't even get a clock on the OP but he was obviously speeding so he pulled him over. If he had said nothing there would be no way for the officer to even give him a ticket. +1 True story: I blasted past a speed trap at over 90mph on my way home from work.
