Spray for the first time!!!

Guys,

I just got the spray on the car and took it to the 1/8th mile last night.
I wasnt expecting too much considering I only had 2 lbs of usable nitrous in the bottle and I was on street tires.

I ran the below times on spray


60'..... 2.113
ET..... 8.402
MPH.... 86.9

I did not spray in first gear as you can tell by the crappy 60'
What do you think my 1/4 mile times would turn out to be ?
By the way I am spraying to the equivelant of a 90 hp shot according to my jetting.

how did the gass feel. did the beast pull any harder? what was your previous bes 1/8m mile time

My previous 1/8th mile time is 8.90 @ 78 mph so the 87 mph was a huge gain . I wasnt too impressed with only an 8.40 , but spraying in 2nd gear on you cant expect too much.
GR8WHITE and I will throw his slicks on it next time and see if she can hit the 7s.
Nitrous is like having a jet fighter hit you in the azz

Thanks for the info bud.
I have a purge and know the results of not purging on the line
A dry kit you can get away with it , but the wet is different because you are gonna spray fuel immediately and if there is no nos there then you could be in for a rich back fire.

I found that the best bottle pressure to spray is around 1050 psi.
I didnt have a warmer or a torch so I sprayed at just under 900 :sad

Also figure in that I couldnt get the accurate jetting.
The kit requires a # 52n and a # 33f , but the speed shop only had even sized jets so I took the high side on the fuel and went with the # 34f jet which probably richened me up too much.

I was only able to spray in 2nd gear on because of traction problems on the streeeties.
It was not the best planned out track visit in my opinion and also I forgot to mention that the nos bottle I borrowed only had 2 pounds of usable nos in it(which was weighed at 19 lbs)
