I figured I'd share a little info about the competition with my SVTp friends:beer:

Along with the Cobra's I also have my Wifes LT1 Camaro as an ongoing project. It's no record setter, but it is a strong runner with a good combo.

I recently added an N/X wet kit to it and took it to a Aftermath Performance to make sure the A/F was safe on the spray.

The N/A baseline pull was 406/375 SAE (all runs SAE)

With a .57/.31 jet combo, about 1k bottle pressure, and 5.5* of timing pulled (mallory 685), it layed down 509/530.

I swapped to .62/.33 jets , 6* timing pulled and about 950 bottle pressure, it only picked up a little: 516/541 (i probably should have pulled more timing)

The A/F was 11.2-11.3 across the board. The plugs are autolite 103's gapped @ .032.

As it sits I'm very happy with the performance with the .57 jets, and put them back in for street use and will more then likely leave them in.

The basics of the combo are:
Stock shortblock
Ported stock heads
230/236 cam
Pacesetter LT's + ORY
Magnaflow cat back
T56
3.42 gears (I broke the 4.10's last week......junk 10 bolts:fm:).

I'm looking forward to hitting the track on spray.

So far its best N/A time is an 11.7@122:rockon: That was with a soft launch (1.9 60 ft), That was on MT DR with 4.10's in some nice FL December weather.

My wife has been to the track with it a couple times now, so far her best is a 12.7@115. That is on shitty nitto DR's, 2.2 60 fts, and granny shifting. I need to teach her how to powershift it!

Future plans hold an 8.8" swap so it can be launched the way I want to launch it (off the limiter:-D).

I'll post the graphs and vids tomorrow.
