spring question

i was told that mach 1 springs will lower a v6 or gt about 3/4 to 1 in . is this true ? i found a set for free and was going to pick them up if true . thanks

i believe they lower less then that..maybe 1/2 inch on a gt.. the bullit springs will lower more..like 3/4 inch but thats also on a gt.. you motor is prolly lighter so wont lower it as much..
