Squeaking front shock? - if you can spare a sec.

Hey all, question for you. My Cobra's front driver's side shock has started squeaking like there is some resistance from a rubber seal in the shock. This is is non dependent on direction of turn nor how great the turn is. Also when the shock goes up and down it squeaks.

1. Has anyone of you experienced squeaking like this from your Mustangs?

2. When turning should the the front shock lower cylinders rotate in the upper cylinders like it does on both sides of mine? Or should the shocks not rotate at all with turning? Or should they rotate on the shock's tower only?

3. What suggestions do you folks have for the cause and fix of the problem?

Note: It has been very wet here during the day and mild frost during the night for the last couple of days and this started just 2 days ago.

Thanks so much.

lol, I have that annoying squeaking going on also. But my suspension is 90K miles old. I have new struts/shocks and spring along with new bushings to replace the old stuff. Talk to Maximum Motorsports about the squeaking, they really know their stuff and they are really curteous. I wanted to do it right the first time so I replaced everything.
