Squealing Clutch?

Man!! I have never heard a clutch squeal like mine out of the blue.....it just wouldnt stop. I would push the clutch in and I heard it go away and when I let it out it was sick. I punched it in 4th at 1500 rpm and it didnt slip. I smelled something burning at the next traffic light and it sounded like it was rubbing or scaping with the clutch out. What is this and how do I fix it? I pushed the pedal to the floor and quick released it and the pedal snapped back up and it stopped the noise for a second. What is burning?? Do I need a clutch???

Bad TOB.. Get it replaced and put in one of our TOB Sleeves to make it bulletproof!!!

Does it sound like I need a new clutch. or should I replace the clutch being that the TOB needs to be replaced . I have an aftermarket warranty do you think they could warranty any of the work?

Will that part only work on the 10 spline stock input shaft? Web description isn't quite clear, sounds like a good idea, but I thought the 26 spline shaft were bigger in diameter...just asking?

It will work with the 10 and 26 spline input shaft. A great idea to replace while the trans is out. :thumbsup:
