anyone running this setup? how do you like the overall quality and how do these compare to the Kooks setup?

That's the setup I have/had. (I'm currently running open headers with turndowns.). It's an excellent setup IMO. The sound is incredible. No drone and no popping with everything installed. I can't speak for the Kooks as I have no experience with that setup.
I would check into ARH. They can make you an O/R H pipe too. I heard it on SNAKE500's car. Sounds great.
