Start up tune needed?

Just wondering if a start up tune is needed for my buddies car. We recently added a stage 7 ported eaton, dragon plenum and tb with the oem injectors resized to 50lb. The spark plugs are ngk iridium tr6 plugs ( some people said the iridium are a bad idea and some said they are great)

The car previously was stock aside for a 2.8 pulley and a catted x and cat back.

Our tuner said running the upsized injectors was a bad idea so we might just upgrade to some 60lb ford injectors



So what do you think? Is a start up tune needed?

Plugs are gapped to .32 btw

I'd go with the 60s. And you'll need a tune for the larger injectors.

It might start up and run but the car is going to be getting 30% more fuel than it thinks it is so its going to run pretty crappy.

Yes. If it's anything like my buddies car it'll be close from the begining. My buddies car was almost dead on with the SCT values.
