Posting this for a friend who has a 02' HD truck with around 120K miles. Truck is stock and used as his daily driver. He told me this morning he tried turning on his truck and it didn't turn over, click, or anything. Tried to boost it and nothing happened. Interior lights, instrument cluster lights, etc all working fine, but the engine didn't turn over and nothing was heard.
I'm thinking maybe the starter? If so, anyone ever had one go out on their HD pick up and how hard is it to change? Can't find a diagram or schematic of it anywhere. May try to assist him this coming weekend.
