Here ya go:
For about a year now I have been dealing with this come and go problem. I would hit the ignition and I would just get a click. Hit the ignition real fast about 5 times and it turns over. It would be good for awhile and show up again in about a month or two. Remedy the same. Well this weekend it did it to me and remedy not working........I arc the solenoid on the firewall and get the same click. I touch off the ignition wire (small wire going to solenoid on starter) and click sound. I have read about a TSB that states problems with the power cable going to the starter (brass nut on solenoid instead of a metal nut causing corrosion with the cable). Battery is good so I guess the only thing it could be is the starter itself or the power cable.
Any of you had this type of problem????
Gimme some input on this.
Thanks
