HOw hard is it to install a starter in our trucks, does anyone know what one costs?? should I just go with the ford starter???

Piece of cake. I'd stay away from the Motorcraft starter. Those who don't know, Motorcraft is NOT owned by Ford and their warranty rates are higher than most in the industry. I'd go with a Premium NAPA starter, but that's just me.

i did not do the motor work but everything else i did
If you can get under your truck you can do it.

The starter is easier to do than trying to change the passenger side upstream O2 sensor....(sorry for still being in a rant).
