over the past few months i have occasionaly had trouble getting the truck to start.i would have to crank the motor for several seconds to get it to fire up.it was very unusual and only once in a great while.it has happened several times in the past few weeks when the weather has been very hot out.i changed out the fuel filter and it did not help.my next guess would be a problem with the fuel pump.anyone heard of or had this problem before? iead/opinions?

I had the same problem on my 2002 supercrew and could not figure it out and neither could the dealership so I traded it in to get rid of the prob. I know this doesn't help but i have seen it before. They checked everything in the fuel system and found nothing and the truck only had 15,000 on it.
