Okay, after my poor experience with ET-style lug nugs (which broke off INSIDE the wheel, forcing me to drill them out and destroy a rim) and snapping factory studs, I purchased some Steeda/ARP studs for the rear.

The problem is that Steeda tells me I have to drill out the holes using a 39/64" bit to fit the new studs. Has anyone done this? I'm worried that the holes won't be centered perfectly after doing this, and I don't want to destroy my hubs. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

dont drill

no drilling required. i put in the steeda apr 2.5 studs in myself , didnt remove hubs. use a little pb blaster or any kind lubricant to help them pull in. i put them through hub, loaded plenty of washers to take up space, used a spare lug nut, and pulled them in with the impact wrench. i destroyed a few washers so get plenty. check back of hub to see they got pulled all the way in. furthermore the 39/64" is smaller than the hole on hub , i checked it out first.
