did a search and found a few helpful tips but just want to make sure. the 03-04 rack is cobra specific? the part number is spr-zm? is there a way to get a direct stock replacement? if not then will i lose my factory steering feel even if i order one from ford? and does anyone know of a how to for this or does the new rack come with instructions?

the dealer has the spr-zm stamped rack. i think im going to order it. so now i just need to know how difficult it is to change and if anyone has a how-to or walkthrough would be greatly appreciated.

i have installed new bushings on my rack. and for the most part had it almost off. from what i remember it wasnt too bad. but there is a bolt that is on the back side of the rack that holds the rod from the steering shaft. and then the two bolts up front. i think that was it.
also check maximummotorsports.com and look at their Installation Instructions scroll down and look at the steering shaft install. it shows some good pics.
