Stiffler's driveshaft loop questions....

I like the fact that it can be installed without drilling but I'm wondering if its design is a compromise in terms of its ability to contain the driveshaft effectively. Has anyone seen the aftermath of a driveshaft failure with one of these in place? Also checking out the Comp Engineering piece since that's what I'm getting for the truck, but would rather not drill into the floor if I don't have to.

It shouldn't take much to keep everything in place. It's not like there's a ton of force if something gives way. It's just spinning. It's when it hits the ground that things get unstable.
