Hi guys,
I have a 2.6 KB, I installed a auto meter cobalt gauge
With the ''T'' that come with auto meter gauge
My combo is 3.25/4lb with LFP idler 100mm, 79'' Gatorback belt
Boost gauge just give me 19-20 lb of boost
Why ???
Also, I sow many vids the stock boost gauge goes down to the end
my Stock one just read about 13-14 lb
And the autometer reads 19-20lb :fm:
What does it mean ? What is wrong ? :whine:

thanks guys

Stock one sucks, dude. HA. Go with the Autometer. Not saying it's perfect, but probably more accurate than the stock one.

But why I sow many vids there boost guage reads to the end.
it really goes down !!
You need to buy an overlay. 10 lbs max boost won't cut it. lol!
Have the stocker calibrated in parallel with a second calibrated boost gauge.
The % of error increases with increased needle sweep.
I don't want a bunch of boi racer gauges in the cockpit. Too much clutter.
If it was a race car things would be different.
Edit:
This is the overlay I purchased.

Yea i dont care for all those gauges even though a wideband might be the only useful gauge. When people roll up next to me they are like OH its stock? I respond with no not really. Then they say OH well how come you dont have any gauges??!!?? Fkn ricers. I have gotten that like 7 times since i have had my car.

Well in respond to the thread...i think if you take off your stock gauge cluster there is a little pin that you have to remove behind the boost gauge so you can let it peg all the way. Since i have been pullied, ported, upper/lower it has always pegged at 12.

Yes, the one thing I should of installed first.
Too many ugly lean condition burnt piston stories.
Another reason I have such a weak sauce tune.
Each gauge = 100 RWHP! :rolling:
If I new the all eight pistons were the correct diameter and I did have a wideband to look at the stoichiometric mixture, I'd load the 100 octane tune, pulley it and add as much timing without going nuts.
I do run VP 100 at the track with the timing pulled back.

True, but he's looking at ~15-26 lbs of boost, depending on the pulley.
