What's the lifespan on our stock pumps with a voltage booster? My other question is what happens when the pump starts going south? Lean the motor out and boom?

A boost reference programmable one shouldn't put much work load since it only activates during boost and changes voltage accordingly. So when not in boost no extra work load on fuel pump.
Yeah I don't have a boost reference one. Just getting an idea.
