Barnett will most likely win this vs horse meat overeem. They let Koscheck continue 4 more rounds after GSP shut his eye closed, the two losses Fedor does have are still not convincing enough for me that he's done. Got caught by werdum and this fight was due to a doctor stoppage, silva couldn't finish him on top punching or any submission attempt he tried, Fedor was a beast not to lose that 2nd round and cause the fight to stop then. I thought it was over a few times.

I was surprised the doctor stopped the fight. Fedor clearly had more gas in the tank and had Silva in the ankle lock to close the round. It was evident Silva coudn't finish the job.
Out of the remaining fighters left I like Kharitonov and Werdum. Josh Barnett time and time again has disappointed me when he has fought.

so where are all of those "ubereem!!!" fans? he may have won this fight(simply because of the bar brawler bias in the MMA judging) but he looked like shit every step of the way. he got absolutely, inarguably outstrike by a BJJ SPECIALIST, and did NOTHING on the ground. and, even with all of that lack of offense, he was STILL winded! sorry, bigfoot will hand him his ass like he did fedor(that was sad, i like fedor).
look for barnett vs bigfoot in the finals. big barnett fan, but i just don't know if he can beat silva.
BTW, i relish the day when A overeem moves on over to the UFC and gets his ass handed to him by the top 5. my god is this guy overrated, he was even mediocre in LHW!!!

I'm going with kharitonov or baby face.. overeem didn't win the fight last night IMO werdum was trading punches and dictating where the fight was most of the fight but I'm still not surprised werdum lost we need to change the judging in mma even though wrestling and jiu jitsu is boring to the average Joe and judge but this is mma not Kickboxing, boxing or muaythai. Its unfair to the fighters with the terrible judging. Anyways overeem didn't impress me at all with werdum and that's y I'm going the winner of Barnett vs kharitonov..
yea dude, it's a joke. overeem had NO offense aside from 2 or 3 legitimate knockdowns in the entire fight. other than that, werdum landed WAY more punches on the feet and the only time it was on the ground was because werdum wanted it on the ground. i mean, you can't exactly give points to overeem for having a "dominant" position(I.E., laying on him) on the ground, when werdum WANTED him in that position. that's not to say that werdum did a great job - his strategy really didn't work for shit - but he certainly had more offense in the fight.
Werum was just gassed it sucks cuz he should a gotten him with that ankle lock at the end of the fight but couldn't get enoug torque on it from being so tired.. I don't blame him overeem is a huge dude just a guy that size laying on you will start wearing on ya come 10 mins
the worst part about it is that overeem was gassed too - and he didn't do a damn thing in the match! lol, living up to his reputation.

completely agree, barnett and bigfoot would make the UFC title situation very interesting, but the others would absolutely have some losses in the octagon.
Well when I met werdum I saw his nose in person and lemme tell ya its jacked for life and remember who did it to him..? Cigano! I can't wait till November !
