Seems like a lot of work for not that much gains, no???

if you have a 4 valve motor the biggest gains will be realized with installing big bore sleeves in the block to reach 5 liters. The reason for this is that from the factory the valves are shrouded. You will see large gains from both unshrouding the valves and the bump in displacement. If you are going n/a you should go with a slightly domed piston and shoot for about 11.0:1 compression. If you are going to go boosted you can get away with a mild dish to get around 9.7 or 9.8:1. If cost is a concern though then going stroker is cheaper.
