Strokers?

How much $$$ does the average stroking job cost? Is it really worth it as far as power gains...how much time and effort is involved. Does anyone know where on Long Island, or somewhere close, something like this can be done? Mustang Magic? JDM?

Check out VT engines they list all the prices. You could also contact Al Pappito (sic) or Jake Lamotta ,Tim Mattherly, Livernois and CHP all do strokers. Mustang Majic uses a VT engine in his ride.

Your looking at approx $4695 for VT's billit shortblock stroker. Add in $295 for the billit oil pump gears and another $90 for billit trigger wheel. Then of course you have to get some ARP head bolts, complete gaskets and what ever other little things pup up.

I chose to add cams too since I have heard people running out of cam with the strokers.
