Strut tower brace

Sorry if this question has been asked before but a buddy just purchased a 2016 EcoBoost Mustang and he was wondering if the strut tower brace from a 2015 GT Mustang would fit his EcoBoost?

I have one in the box to test out. Hope to get to it this weekend.

How did you make out SID?

My buddy was explaining to me today that due to the A/C lines going over the shock tower, it would be a difficult fit.
He said that if the bolts on the shock tower could be driven down a bit, it may be possible to slide the brace under the A/C lines and then draw the bolts back up.
If that makes any sense.
