The nut that secures the ring terminal to the alternator had rusted onto the stud of my alternator somehow. I soaked it for a few hours in some WD-40, but when I went to wrenching on it, the stud came out of the alternator all together. Is this something I can fix/replace, or will I need an entire new alternator?

Yea it did have something like an inverted torx. Looks like it kinda stripped out whatever was holding it in.....I was thinking maybe I could buy the whole back piece......I dunno, kinda looks like I'll need a new alternator.
