Surging idle

I just installed my Vortech S/C today. After the base tune it is surging at idle. Can I adjust the MAF to solve this problem, or do you think it could be something else? It is a 99 GT with a lightning MAF.

check for leaks in the post-blower piping?

check for vacuum leaks or like Myzticsnake said leak post MAF, so if it is draw thru u need to check everything. (ie, IAC)

I cannot find a vacuum leak. When I disco the MAf the car stop surging and idles fine, but bogs down when I throttle it. As soon as I hook the MAF back up it begins surging again. Could this be a tune issue? Did I mention the exhaust smells like pure fuel.

Have you had it dyno tuned? I would suspect the tune is the issue.

No haven't got it on the dyno yet, so it will sit in the driveway till I get the SCT software. I'm waiting on a tune from VMP to make it to the dyno.

Stock throttle body? Maybe the IAC controller / valve is sticking?
