SVT is Fine!

This is absolutely 100% false. This is a response from a "higher up" at SVT:

SVT badging on GT500 has not changed. It will be on wheel centercaps, seats, rocker scuffplates, cluster and shift light.

Also: Some contract employees supporting SVT marketing were let go as part of last week's restructuring. We are consolidating all performance related marketing activities to have a more holistic approach to racing, high performance products, and aftermarket performance parts business

I called SVT this am. They have consolidated the SVT, SVTOA and Ford Racing into one division.

Aren't you the one who's grandpa works for them? Get us some inside scoop.

When I called last week that is how they answered the phone. Today I called again and their options menu said something along the line of "you have reached SVT, SVTOA and FRPP"

Great news for Ford and for us. It will be much better to keep everything under one umbrella. DC has done this and it's working for them quite well.

I don't talk to my grandpa much since he is a busy guy but I think he told me that SVT, Ford Racing, and the VPS is all now called the Ford Performance Group.

No. I'm on themustangsource and here. That is it. I don't have anything to do with the car industry. I'm just a major Mustang geek that spends a lot of time reading internet boards.
