Yeah, there's a whole GM press release on all the Vette sites with the stats. It's pretty f-in close to a race motor. They claims the heads flow 43% better than the LS6 heads, and that's puts em around 360cfm They didn't put all the cam specs, but with .591/.591 lift, it's clear GM isn't screwing around. 7k rpm redline etc, pretty radical motor for an SBC variant.
With heads that flow that well, I won't be surprised if it's a) underrated and b) easy to get 600 horse N/A. Just goes to show the aftermarket can't compete with factory backed developement. I think my heavily worked LS6 heads flow at a bit over 320cfm max and the car makes ~500rwhp on virtually the same lift.
Just for kicks I checked and the best numbers I saw for an AFR 225 head with 242cc chambers with a similar bore motor to the LS7 and 2.10 valves was 360.9 cfm.
