For Mustang Week 2013 SVTP and BBR partnered to organize the 3rd Annual SVTPerformance/Blow-By Racing Coyote Cruise. Last year we were elated with the field of 16 cars that made the trek with us. When we realized that 53 cars were going to be joining us on the cruise for MW2K13 we knew we had something special. It’s true that a few GT500s managed to find their way into the mix, but we weren’t about to snub our Pony-car brothers.
Starting from The Myrtle Beach MallThe Myrtle Beach Mall, we drove on many roads that visitors to the Grand Strand are unlikely to see. We saw a fake blind guy, were treated to a show by a passing fire truck, drove through a quiet neighborhood, and eventually ended up at Dirty Don's Oyster Bar. Don’s was literally packed with Mustang owners, it was an awesome sight. After a 30+ mile drive some great food and a cold drink were sorely needed. We were told by the Dirty Don’s management that our crew contributed to their busiest Thursday ever. Considering the amount of business a restaurant can bring in the summer at the beach that is something to be proud of. I’m looking forward to breaking some more records next year, but until then check out the pics below:
