Swapped ST's Saturday!

So went to the dealer on saturday for the first oil change on my nice new 14 Tangerine Scream ST1 and while I was waiting I noticed a bad ass Silver ST3 out on the lot. The last one they had. Wasn't really looking to trade as I loved my ST but it was a base model with no goodies in it. I get Z plan from Ford so since I got a huge discount I was able to trade the ST1 in for almost as much as I paid for it! Paid $20,500 and traded it in for $19,800! Only paid $25,004 for the new one! It was a deal I couldn't pass up, heck it was worth it for the Recaro's alone.

Any other color but silver and I would agree. But nice package upgrades for sure.

Definitely a nice upgrade! Do you have some sort of deal on tag/title/taxes/etc. or is that lost money you weren't really thinking about? Not sure how long you've had the car, but you definitely paid to drive it for the short time you had it.

i really thought id be ok with an st1.. ive had top of the line for years and really just didnt overly care for too many gadgets... but when i buy a 15 st im going to at least drive home an st2... depending on where i stand, it may be an st3 mainly because i kinda want the gps. If i walked into a dealer now and found the perfect 14 id pick it upm but around here they are scarce so i dont mind waiting for the 15.

Taxes aren't bad because I traded another car in, I only pay a $75 dealer fee and the tags are like $120. I think there is $200 in admin fees and doc stamps... So pretty cheap. Then again i do this a lot. This is my 5th car this year so...
