I was looking to swap the stock MAF on my 2000L for a 90MM one and get a CAI. Now can I simply bolt on the new MAF, disconnect the battery to reset the ecm and hook it all back afterwards or is there more to this swap?
Yea you could, but it wont run for shit, and it'll be dangerous for the motor. You need to reflash you pcm for the new calibration. A tunner or chip can do that for you as well as hook you up with a few more whp n wtq. Check out Amazon, Rick is incredable with these trucks, and Lynn is real good with the bank account.
