You sure youre in central FL?
Yup, but IL born and raised. Someone gave me a weird look because I said I'm not a sushi person, so I told them the truth. "IL is surrounded by cows, pigs, corn and wheat, we don't need anything else."

my point was some guys like to think eating meat=man status, I'm not actually critisizing store bought meat, I just think its funny how some people think that's what makes a man a man. Only people who can claim to be badass are the people who hunt the meat themselves.
I have not seen local hog butchering here. Cattle and chicken are the big two and I'm fine with beef/chicken/fish.
Again, I'm not virtue signalling or telling anyone what they should/shouldn't do, only posted my own personal morals
Sometimes I'll sub Lima beans in place of meat here and there.
Everyone has their own choices. Until I saw this video and others I never knew this was how livestock was killed or handled.
I’m sure people would be up in arms if these were dogs instead of pigs.
My buddy's wife is a vegetarian I think, or maybe vegan. I'm not sure.
Since they have started living together he has gotten smaller and smaller. It's was kind of alarming to look at him, he used to be fairly cut and decently built. Now he looks like his body is being eaten away.
Good vegan documentary on Netflix called "The Game Changers." I have considered going this route as well, but more vegan "lite" vs full on vegan.
