On my '13 gt500 I have 19" front wheels. The stock size tire is a 265/30/19. I noticed that in the size 245/35/19 you have a lot more options at better prices. Looking at the specs that size should fit my stock wheel fine only be a little shorter and a tad skinnier. Any reason that wouldn't work for my car? Will it mess with the ABS system? I only drag race and cruise in this car so road racing worries don't matter to me. Thanks

Thank you for the post, Nickoli.

The 245/35R-19 size is approximately 1.75-inches shorter in rolling diameter when compared to the factory front 265/40R-19 tires and will likely negatively effect the ABS/TC system. Another issue you're going to run into is load carrying capacity. The original equipment tires carry 1510lbs at placard pressure (35 PSI) and all the tire models in the 245/35R-19 size carry 1433lbs at max pressure (44 PSI). We do not recommend this size for your GT500.

You may want to look into the available options in the 245/45R-19 size. All the models produced in this size meet the load carrying requirements and this size is only slightly taller when compared to the factory fronts so it shouldn't effect the ABS/TC system. The models in this size are similarly priced to the tire models in the 245/35R-19 size as well.
