T56 swap with T45 harness

Is it better to use the t45 harness since it is the correct length or should I extend the wires on the t56 harness?


If I use the t45 harness what all needs to be modified? I know the reverse will need extended. Does anyone have a diagram for the t45 harness?

I used my t45 harness for my magnum swap and just needed to extend the reverse wiring like you said. You'll also have to add in wiring for the reverse lockout solenoid if you choose to.

I'm not sure whether I'm gonna get a weaker spring or get the reverse lockout timer.
