Hello all, new to this section of the forum. I just picked up a 02 True Blue truck with 39K miles on it. It is all original, and planned mods are just a CAI, pulley, custom tune, heat exchanger, and possibly a valve body. I will definitely run the truck at the track some, but not very serious. Mainly it will be used for daily driving and towing my GT500 to the strip. I was interested in changing out the tail lights to the earlier style... these just seem too "ricey" for my personal tastes. Apparently, according to parts catalogs (I manage an auto parts store) Ford made some type of change to the tail light assemblies in the 2000 year model. One has the reverse bulb in more towards the center of the assembley, and the other has it towards the top (like the truck is stock). I am assuming I can just order the later one and it should be plug and play, I was just curious if anyone else had done that or encountered any issues. Thanks!
