Dont want this to be a dumb question, but is it the thickness of a long-sleeve shirt or a sweater? It looks fairly thin in the pics. Doesnt matter too much since I'm in S.Fl. Just curious.

It's a hoodie sweatshirt so it's got the thickness of a sweater not a lightweight long sleeve.

Sorry bro but we didn't make any in 3X this run. These run a little big so a 2X may do but I can't guarantee it as it's labeled a 2X.
