He has some z06 stuff, big cam, exhaust and? I don't know vetts. it's a 99. He says he has about 450rwhp. Anyway we rolled from 40 and I put 2 cars on him quickly. Later found out he started in first and had traction/rev lim. issues. He wanted to go from 45-50 so we did that I gave him the hit and had 1 car on him at 100 but had to shut down do to some traffic up ahead.
Expecting a rematch and yea one day maybe I will make a vid to share.....Corvettes are fast:dw:

I seriously doubt he actually has 450rwhp. That sounds a little too high considering his mods. Its probably closer to around 400whp at most.

I personally saw a C6 Z06 (on a dynojet) lay down 446rwhp bone stock,
so I'll let you go from there.

Do you think if he is at low 400 he will catch me if we went say to 140? He wants to run the next time up to that. His weight and gears are in his favor then.:shrug:

A cam and exhaust on a C5 is not even close to 450 rwhp; more like 375 hp.

are you sure it's a 99? if so, it's a FRC (Fixed Roof Coupe) not a Z06.. the Z06 didn't come out till 2001, with a 385 hp LS6, 02 they had the 405 hp LS6..

the 99 and 2000 FRC had the 345 hp LS1, but the same body as the 01-04 Z06. They all came with 6 speed and Z51 suspension.. (performance suspension on the high performance non Z06 C5's)
the weight on a FRC/Z06 from 99-04 is about 3115 lbs curb weight.. where the regular C5's (targa coupe and ragtop) is 3246 lbs +/- a few lbs for all of them..

He didn't say it was a Zo6... He said it "had some Zo6 stuff".

That being said.... If it's a 99 that means he'll have to have put a LS6 intake on it, cam of his choice obviously, headers most likely... leaving just the heads in question.

99's didn't have the greatest heads of the bunch, but they're ok.

IOW: He's prolly not hitting 450rwhp without heads. But he's probably solidly over 400 at the wheels without question.
