[QUOTE="Jroc, post: 13720369, member: 51847"] Absolutely. Don't get me wrong if Ford wants to they are as capable of producing as high a performance vehicle as anyone, but that's only if they want to. Ford has started to really step it up with the Mustang since the reintroduction of the Camaro, but thats about it. Their highest performance vehicle is a Mustang. As good as the new Mustangs are they still aren't on the level of a high-end model sport cars like Vette's, Vipers, GTR, 911's, etc. Also sometimes Ford may get an individual with some authority that will try and give you great performance for the $, but that's not them as a whole. How long did Ford decide to hold out and use iron blocks in their performance vehicles when everyone else long since gone to aluminum with their V-style motors? How long did it finally take for Ford to go with a 6-speed over a old 5-speed when everyone else had long since switched to a 6-speed? For a long time Ford would sit there and let GM better their performance cars without giving them much a fight. Why do you think so many have love for Terminators?
