From the title of this thread doesn't it belong on a Bowtie forum?

Umm...this is SVTP man...where you see more shit about Chevy and Mopar than you do Ford.

Lol those drag brakes are really going to slow down that thing on the street?

What do you think it picked up? StangTV did a test and were only able to pull 5hp more out of a 440cu sbc with comparable solid and hydraulic setups.

Just from other cars I've seen solid rollers on.

40 to 50rwhp over a hydraulic cam in a similar motor is a good guess.

It also idles smoother and seems to get better gas mileage than my other z06 with a big hydraulic roller.
And with better throttle response.

I love the solid roller.

Any NA motor I build from now on will most likely be solid roller.

How often do these need adjusted?

I know Honda uses solid lifters on pretty much everything and no adjustments are required for 100k or so.

I plan on just checking it at the end of every year. But I'm thinking it should last a very long time.

I built it with endurance/circle track style parts..

SR cams and lifters have come a long way over the years. Its funny to see how many people think that SR cams are like the old days when you had to set the lash every weekend or so. They also run allot tighter now. Whats yours set at hot? 6 to 8 thousands?

Very very cool. Solid roller is definitely badass. I have seen a 551 rwhp solid roller ls3 camaro set up. Has me thinking... Hmmmmm.

Need moar vids op. Nice rear brakes by the way.

Very cool! I've actually been considering trying a solid roller setup when I build a motor for my Z28 since it's just a toy at this point.

Sounds awesome and that intake looks freaking amazing. I'm in for dyno numbers and race vids!
