the cobra is getting warm need answers

my cobra is getting warm i have a feeling it is the fan clutch going out there is some type of oil getting on the belt and slinging all over the place and on the fan. it got warm the other day thought it was the thermostat changed it with a 180 and helped a little but then got warm again. now if im not mistakin after u drive the car and its warmed up u shouldnt be able to turn the fan when it is turned off correct? i think it should be stiff or still engaged i believe? if u guys could help me out this would be great thanks

Yep, the fan clutch should be stiff when it's warm/hot. It's an easy replacement.

Not a bad job to do at all, and sounds like the fan clutch is the culprit...

well the thing is that i had a new clutch put in and they said my fan clutch was going to well the said they would replace it and stuff they even charged me and i dont think it ever got done so i just took it there and had them look at it and see if that it and if it is im going to be pissed but we will see thanx for the input
