I have been around helicopters my whole life, love it. But you're looking atleast 13-15k if you're a quick learner, but then another 30k just to get the hours you need to even be considered for a job. Unless you're military with tons of flight time it will be next to impossible to make a career of it. My grandfather flew for the sheriffs department for 20 years, had his own flight school etc, had the first production Schweizer 333, and 300's before that.


Oh and that guy is nuts

you were right....coolest thing i've seen all day by a long shot.

Definitely came in thinking it was going to be a coast guard chopper with a fishing pole hanging out
