Had to stop a University commencement this evening due to tornados coming through Saint Louis. Fun stuff. Tornado hit the Amazon center in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Well this wasn't fun today.... Yesterday we got 12+ inches of snow. It was above my knees where the plows pushed it in. I really need a snowblower at the shop. My body is shot.

I don’t know how y’all do it. I will never live somewhere I have to dig myself out of repeatedly every year.

It was 72 here yesterday. 50’s today.

Mother nature didn't forget about you, trying to set up a nasty patch of ice starting on the 18th. Stay sky aware. Long ways off, so hope the models change.

A snow blower is definitely worth it even if you only use it once a year. I blew my back out in 2011 because we got 8 feet of snow that winter. Since then I keep the shoveling to a minimum and just use the machine. Get one with electric start and hand warmers and you're set!

Yeah, I obviously have one at the house beings I live in Minnesota. I may need to get one for the shop.

I haven’t seen a dedicated thread about these systems yet, which surprises me.

However, I was under the impression that it was a series of touchdowns with a large individual twister or two that produced the damage.

I’ve never heard of a single tornado traveling anywhere near 250 miles.

More to this?
