Theft light keeps blinking

Hey guys, I have a question about my theft stuff. I have a 96 cobra, and I thought I was having fel issues, but it appears that I tripped the theft deterrant device while I was messing around with my broke ignition key. Well I am wondering if there are any tricks to re-setting the system rather than taking it to a dealership. They want to charge me $80 to reset the theft system and I just dont want to pay them. Im kinda broke at the moment. Anyways, is there anything at all that I can do to help this matter with my car. Thanks for all the hlep guys. Russyo

im not sure man, but try disconnecting the neg terminal of the battery for like 15 min? im not sure tho

I tried that already, I take the battery out every night, all night. It doesnt make any difference. Is there some way that someone who has one of those diagnostics gaudgets could reprom it for me. I would be willing to pay someone other than Ford. Thanks guys
