Theft Light Question

I was just wondering if everyone's theft light in the instrument cluster is always flashing? Mine is always flashing about once every 2 seconds. The only time it doesn't flash is when the key is in the on position. Is yours the same way? Thanks

The theft light on my 2001 GT flashes when the car is off (once every couple seconds). If it's running, then no, it does not flash...

I'm assuming the Cobra is the same...

Yep it's flashing as I type. I have to assume at some point it stops though.

without the key in the ON possition...the theft light will continue to flash like that...this is a sign that the PATS system is working correctly
